To guarantee your reservation, a deposit of 50% is required for a stay of two or more nights, and a 100% deposit is required for one night stays. The balance due at checkout may be paid by cash or credit card.
Should you wish to cancel or change your reservation for any reason, we require at least 14 days advance notice. With at least 14 days notice we will refund your deposit less a service charge of 10 percent of your total reservation. Cancellations made within the 14 day period will be charged the full amount of the reserved stay unless we are able to book the room. If we are able to rebook the room, we will refund the rebooked portion, less the 10% service charge. We are a small B and B and cancellations affect us dramatically. We realize that life and the weather are unpredictable, but we cannot assume responsibility for either! Please carefully consider our policy before making a reservation.
Arrival and Departure
Check in period is between 3pm and 7pm. When you make your reservation please tell us what time you expect to arrive so we can arrange to be here to greet you. Please give us a call if your arrival time changes so we can make appropriate plans.
Check out time is 11am.
We regret we cannot accommodate pets at The Hand and Heart Bed and Breakfast. We have Maggie (a 12 year old yellow lab) and Sky (a 1 year old cat) and they would be EXTREMELY jealous of any other pets on the premises.
There is no smoking in or on the Hand and Heart property. Guests who smoke in their rooms will have a $250.00 charge assessed to the credit card on file to cover the cleaning charges incurred in rendering the room smoke free for subsequent guests.
Waders and Fishing Gear
Waders and fishing gear are not permitted in our home. For your convenience there are hooks on the barn out back for drying and storing waders during your stay. Please note we cannot be responsible for anything left there, however.
